Getting the most out of Travel and Airline Credit Cards

For frequent flyers, earning discounts on airfare can be very advantageous. Travel and airline credit cards allow you to earn points on purchases that can be later redeemed towards plane tickets, or hotels and accomodations.

While airline credit cards can help you save money through discounts on airfair, they typically have higher annual fees and APR rates than other low interest cards. if you carry a balance from month to month it may be preferable to carry it on a low interest credit card.

Airline credit cards are only one type of reward credit card. Other categories of reward credit cards include gas credit cards and cash back.
